This boy is just Beautiful and the sweetest boy, this is HARVEY a Wonderful purebred Weimaraner, Harvey is a smaller male Weimaraner approx 65lbs, 65lbs of pure joy he is handsome a typical Weimy pup, he is 11 months old, Harvey has beautiful Weimy features he is blessed with beautiful soulful eyes that just want to please If you are a Weimaraner Owner, and want a boy that needs you as much as you need him this is your boy, Harveys Story Harvey came to us 2 months ago he was bought from a breeder back in July he was sold to a single mom with a 3 yr old child the mom worked long hours and Harvey spent most of his time in a crate. The mom had to move out of her rented home when the landlord decided to sell the property, Her new home she could not take Harvey what a blessing that was for Harvey, We agreed to take Harvey into our program and we were expecting a lively happy pup NOT SO Harvey arrived his coat was brittle he was underweight his nails were so long they were curled under and his pads were so fleshy like a newborn which indicated this boy had never been outside much or not at all, Harvey had very little muscle tone in his hind legs and he was not potty trained, His foster mommy has done a great job with Harvey today his coat is like silk his nails are trimmed he is up to weight we have him on a good nutritious diet, Harvey is not crated he is potty trained and his muscle tone is all good, Harvey just loves to run and he is fast he is enjoying the freedom, We are now searching for a Weimaraner forever home for our cute boy Harvey is only available to an established Weimaraner family, Someone that understands our breed is important, So what does our handsome boy need Harvey needs someone that is home most of the day someone that has time to invest in him and include him in activities, After his previous months he dosent like to be left alone for too many hours and crating this boy is a definite no, Harvey needs a stable family that will love him as much as we do and give him the love security and stability he needs, Harvey loves to snuggle with you drape himself over you and like most weimaraners loves to sleep in your bed so if you don't like a dog on your furniture Harvey is not for you, Harvey loves to run and play so a fenced in yard is essential, Harvey gets along with others he is with a very submissive male weim at his fosters but Harvey can be a little dominant and like most weims can be a little possessive, So we would say he would do well with a not too bossy female or as an only boy with plenty of interaction No cats for Harvey and no small children he can be a little mouthy Harvey loves to ride in the car and he rides well, He can be a little mischievous if you leave food on the counter you can count on it being gone when you return, also we would advise if you have any expensive leather shoes you keep them away in your closet with the door firmly closed.
