About Marlene

Ms. Marlene has finished nursing her puppies and she has been spayed and is now looking for her very own home. She is just a little over a year old and is a Siberian Husky. If you fall in love with her looks - please don't stop there - research the breed carefully - they are best owned by experienced owners. She is not an apartment dog - she has way too much energy for that. She does great with humans of all sizes, is great with other dogs an her foster home reported she seemed to be fine with cats but we would highly recommend that be verified with a cat before someone with a cat adopts her as we have some doubts. She is housebroken. She is a very nice young girl who passes all temperament testing with flying colors. She is, however, a talker - a huge talker. So if you are looking for 'quiet' that is probably not a word we would use to describe Marlene. If you talk to her she talks back - if you aren't talking to her she talks to you until you do talk to her. So far she hasn't attempted to jump our 6' fences here but she has been looking at the top of them very longingly - almost like she is trying to figure out if she has to climb or jump them. In typical Siberian fashion they are runners - so she will require proper containment in her forever home - with what we would recommend no less than a 6' fence (something other than chain link). She is spayed, current on all of her shots, she is heartworm negative and current on all preventatives and has her micro-chip. Her adoption fee will be $225.00.
