About Chance

Chance was rescued from the streets in Euclid during wintertime with freezing temperatures, likely abused and neglected. When he was found, he was very malnourished, his belly and paws were raw, he had bite marks on him, and he could barely stand up. He was terrified, starved, and hypothermic. After just a few short weeks of tender care. Chance has put on weight and is currently at 45 lbs but can still afford to put on a little more. All his cuts and wounds have healed. We had him examined and treated by a vet and found out that he is 10 mo. - 1 yr old. He has been neutered and is now up-to date on all of his shots, including rabies, distemper, and heartworm preventative. Chance has a lot of energy for outdoors but also loves to cuddle and snuggle up to people. He is very good with adults and very affectionate. He loves to give lots of doggy kisses and is very friendly. We don't think he would do well with cats as he likes to chase ours quite a bit. We are currently unsure how he would do with children or other dogs, but will be taking him for training to know more. He has not showed any aggression in the weeks that he has been with us, only affection. He is potty trained and able to let his person know when he has to go outside. He also knows basic commands like sit, stay, and paw. He walks well on a leash though can get excited at times when he sees other dogs. He also enjoys car rides. He yearns for companionship and a loving home. If you are interested in Chance, please let us know.
