This Handsome Boy is RYKER a gorgeous Long Haired Weimaraner./ Dobie Mix Ryker is 14 months old he is a handsome boy and a unique mix He is adorable and everything you can imagine in a happy boisterous puppy boy Ryker's story )))) With Ryker being so young we don't have a lot of history to share, Ryker was placed in a high kill shelter in Alabama back in June he was 6 months old and terrified it is unclear how he came to be in the shelter in the first place some shelters do not give us much information, We took him out of the shelter and placed Ryker in a loving foster home. Ryker is everything you would expect of a young pup he is playful and a little boisterous at times, He loves to run in the yard and if he can get into mischief or roll around in mud this boy will be right there, He is fun to be around, It is clear he still needs some discipline direction and boundaries, He is a fast learner and is very smart, If he was a human we would probably label him as a little cocky, On the flip side Ryker just loves to snuggle and be close to you, He has many of the Weimaraner traits He is a little boy that wants to be part of the family snuggle with you and share your ice cream, Ryker will make a great boy with the right family and interaction, Ryker can be a little dog selective most likely due to his history He can get along with others but we feel he would do better as an only dog where he can get much needed attention and interaction, We are now searching for a wonderful WEIMARANER forever home for Ryker A family that understands our breed and their needs & will love and cherish this boy as much as we do. A home that will give him stability and security that he needs Ryker has Excelled in the time he has been with us. He is so lovable he deserves a family that will give him the love and attention our breed craves. He loves to be around humans. His Weimaraner traits give him the ability to only hear what he wants to hear so a strong leader is needed. Otherwise the Weimaraner manipulative side may appear He is energetic, fun and playful. Ryker is house trained He is intelligent and smart and will easily pick up your routine. We are looking for a family that is home most of the day He is a typical Weim that dosent like to be left alone for hours on end he needs the presence of a human We are looking for a family that has time to invest in him. We do not crate any of our dogs and crating Ryker would be a disaster so we are looking for a family that will not crate him. Ryker like most weimaraners loves home comforts, At night time he will sleep on a sofa or a bed however he just loves to sleep on your bed he loves to be close to his humans. So if you do not like a dog on your furniture Ryker is not for you He definitely needs a home with a FENCED in yard he loves to run free, No Cats for Ryker, We are looking for a home that is a little quieter with no small children Ryker would do well with an older family that has time to take him places and share activities. Ryker is Neutered, current on all vaccinations heartworm Negative and he is micro.chipped. He is happiest being in a family environment and enjoying freedom to run outdoors and relax with you in the home. We are looking for a forever home that can cherish him and give him the love and attention he needs, A family that is really stable and can give him that forever home that means forever. We don't want to ever find this boy back in a shelter. A family that will include him in their lifestyle and activities. Ryker will excel with the right interaction. Please note we do not place our Weimaraners in Apartments Town homes or condos.
