About Charlotte

My name is Charlotte and I am looking for my Forever Home. I'm a six year old Dachshund Mix (my peeps are thinking I've got a wee bit of Jack Russell in me but, whatever!). I've only had one other owner-they weren't too attentive-didn't recognize my adoring, loyal and obedient qualities. I am potty trained (even in the snow!)-but, like any Doxie, if I'm alone too long, I might prefer a potty pad by the back door. I am good in a crate for a few hours when you're not home. When you get back, I'll 'sing' my happiness in seeing you again! I need a fenced yard-as in, at least a 4 foot fence, as my Foster Family only has a 24 inch fence which I think is a gym class hurdle. I LOVE to know where you are and I LOVE to cuddle. I LOVE to be with people. I am super great on a leash as I love to go for walks-in any kind of weather. You should see me bound through the puddles and snow! My foster family has taught me how to sit for a treat and sit before being given my breakfast and dinner bowl. I have the most amazing hearing-NO ONE will sneak into your house without me knowing My fur is sooooo soft��%BD��%BD%BD'��%BD��%BD%BD| I will never object to anyone petting me. Anywhere. Any time. I smoothly hop up into the Human Bed with my foster sisters and snuggle in for a quiet night of sleeps. I would prefer to be the only dog of the house BUT I respond to human commands to be a fellow pack member with existing pups. I'm all up to date with that nice Vet man-including teeth cleaning!
