About Quincy

Did you stop to look at me because I look snuggly? I am!! My name is Quincy and I am looking for a job as professional snuggler! I am not sure why but I have been bounced all over the place this last year...from a shelter to several different foster homes and then I met these nice ladies who decided that I was all done bouncing around. They got together and asked The Halfway House Rescue ladies if they would let me be a part of their rescue. It has been so awesome being with them! I have the best foster mom and dad! They have cats and we are learning to be buddies. I love to curl up in their little cat beds! My foster mom takes me for a walk or run every night and I love it. She says I have a lot of energy that I need to burn, whatever that means. She would like for a very active family to adopt me. Maybe even someone who runs. Because I run like the wind! I get really excited when I meet new people but foster mama says I can't jump on them so we are working on that every day. I can't help it, I love everyone! I have a strong personality because I have never had a leader in my life and have been bounced constantly I always had to take care of myself but foster mom is teaching me that she is in charge and I can just relax. I can be absolutely AMAZING with other dogs but it takes a good introduction. As you can see above, once I have bonded with the other dogs in the household, I become very very attached to them and snuggle with them all the time. I need an experienced owner who will show me the right way to act, and I need a family who will give me lots of exercise to help me channel my energy into something constructive. I am house trained and crate trained. I have had all of my vaccines, I am neutered, and I am on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. I have also been microchipped.
