About Buddie

Buddie is the perfect age of 7 years old, and is approximately 12lbs. Since his breed which we believe is Coton de Tulear mix with Havenese is not listed as an option, we have put Bichon in order to list him on this site. He was being offered for 'free' after his owners died. Relatives had him but he was not getting food or water regularly. So far we have observed he does not mark, is perfect in a car, potty trained, not a beggar. He has severe anxiety being left alone which is inherent in this breed and probably heightened due to the trauma he has gone through, losing his beloved owners and going through numerous changes in such a short time. We expect a firm commitment from the new family that they will work with him on his anxiety and not give up, providing professional training if needed. For that reason Buddie would do best in a quiet home where someone is there a majority of the time to help build his self confidence, and give him a life of love and respect.
