About Angus

Bernese Mountain Dog / Great Pyrenees
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

It's with a very very heavy heart and under extreme circumstances that are beyond my control that I must rehome my boy Angus. He is half Bernese and half Great Pyrenees and 120 lb of just pure love. He is used to being on property he is very vocal gets along great with cats and other dogs also he is used to being around horses. He has to be in the home with at least one other dog as he will get very lonely if he's not he loves to play. He is neutered just had eyelid surgery as he had a curled in eyelid but it's all healed now and he has all of his shots. If you need more information you can private message me. I am not charging for him even though upto today I have spent over $4500 in vet bills on him. I don't need to see money in order to know he's going to a good home' I would rather somebody take that money they would have spent on a rehoming fee and spend it on him maybe some new toys or a new bed. I am going to be picky as I rescued him at 7 weeks old from poor conditions he almost died so he's had three surgeries since I've owned him and now he's very healthy boy. He loves the outdoors he loves the cold weather does not like swimming or water but he does like coming inside and being with his humans the one thing he does not like being is alone. I take him to the groomers as his fur is impossible to do myself he has double dew claws on his back feet they don't get in the way. In the summer I have him shaved he seems to be much happier and more comfortable . He has a stubborn streak he doesn't do very well on the leash because he's been used to running free with his pals on a fenced-in couple of Acres. Currently we are in Oregon. I would have to see the location and have several references and have a commitment that he will be taken care of like he is supposed to including quality food, flea prevention , heartworm prevention I also give him glucosamine because I do not want him to have problems with his joints. I'm going to be picky as I want him to have a forever home. This big boy will capture your heart as he has captured mine. Sometimes in life you have to do what's right and what's good for the animal. Finding him a place where he will have a forever home and live out the rest of his days like the big dopey love bug that he is would make this decision just a little bit less hard :( (me crying) as everyone who knows me knows I love him more than anything in the world.
