About Louie

Meet Louie! This boy is the SWEETEST, most loving kid around! We estimate him to be about 8-10 years old, although you can't tell by looking at his teeth, because he doesn't have any. (They all had to be removed, they were so rotten) Thing is, even though he was turned in to the shelter in atrocious condition--after giving this boy a mercy grooming, pulling all his bad teeth, and giving him some good nutritious meals--we could tell that he has been a house pet--and very loved before he came to us. He has a couple quirks--he nurses on his pillow and licks a lot (indicative of being taken away from his mom too young) so his adopter will have to get used to the fact he likes to kiss. (When he is corrected, he cries and runs away--so maybe he was hit when he licked too much?) Louie likes all humans he meets, even strangers. He is great with dogs, and is even starting to get playful with the young chihuauhuas in his foster home! He is an expert snuggler and also likes to sleep in the human bed with you. He is NOT good with cats! Although he cannot hurt them (no teeth) he barks and chases them. He is a very good boy who deserves a forever family! he is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, licensed in Maricopa County, and had bloodwork and a dental.
