About Zoya

Zoya just turned 6 in January, weighs 10# and is a very sweet dog. Her kids have gone to college and she is ready for a new family to love. She is housebroken and daytime kennel trained. She enjoys playing tug (play growls), chasing balls, taking walks, and running in a yard or hallways for a game of chase. She is curious with cats but mostly the cats are standoffish, they don't play ball right. Zoya thinks she is a guard dog and takes a while to warm up to men but is easily won over by playing with her (ie family and boy friends ok repair men not so much). Zoya will keep your feet warm at night and curl up on your lap for a snooze. Her name Zoya is a form of Zoe meaning Alive, Life and Joyous, Loving and Caring which describes her well.
