About GUS

Adoption Fee: 400
Lab / Plott
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

GUS is ready to steal your heart with his sweet face, playful personality and fabulous temperament. GUS is an 16-month-old, 50 lb. Lab/Plotthound mix who is super sweet and friendly and just meant to be part of your family! GUS would love to become your best friend, your hiking buddy and couch cuddler. He has a lot of energy and loves to have fun; he is ball crazy, energetic, very playful with an off button. He would do best in an active family with a fenced in yard where he can run and play (loves to chase balls) and explore the great outdoors. Gus is good with other non dominant friendly dogs and plays well with the foster family's dog. Although he is fine when left alone for a while, being near his family and included in family activities makes GUS happy. GUS is a smart boy, highly treat and praise motivated and enjoys training and learning new things (a winning combination). He is crate and potty trained, walks nicely on a leash and is wonderful in the house, very well mannered. He's calm and generally quiet, only chews the toys that are given to him and is respectful of the resident dog. Gus is a love bug; he is very affectionate and loves belly rubs and snuggles. When you come home from work GUS will be the first to greet you with wags and kisses! Are you ready to bring sweet GUS into your heart? He'll give you his devotion in exchange... forever and a day. GUS is neutered, heartworm negative and up to date on core vaccines. Adoption fee is $400. Please note that training is highly recommended for all young dogs. As with all rescue animals, breed determination cannot be validated without genetic testing. Visit WWW.LULUSRESCUE.ORG and click on the ADOPT tab for an overview of Lulu's Rescue adoption process. Thanks for adopting and saving a life -- you are GUS' hero!
