About Puppington Jude

Puppington was adopted by my parents in June of 2005. Her age was listed as unknown then but estimated to be around 4 years old. That would make her almost 17 years old! She is a lab/greyhound mix and still very very active. You wouldn't know she was as old as she was based off of her energy level. Both of my parents passed away within a year of each other. One in October 2016 and the other September of 2017. That left her with no one that she was used to. My husband and I, knowing that she's an older dog and likely to be euthanized, decided to take her in. Unfortunately, she does not mix well with our 6 and 8 year old. She is fearfully aggressive. We are assuming children abused her before my parents adopted her. She is very anxious around children and we just don't want her last days to be full of anxiety and muzzled. She plays very well with our 4 year old female Bassador. She is dominant! Fortunately, our bassador is very submissive. Puppington loves my husbamd and I and is right on our tails wherever we go. She is honestly one of the sweetest dogs I know. She loves snuggles and pets. And loves her humans to no end. We want her to find a home with adults with no children, cats or frequent visitors. She needs to spend her last few years in comfort. With a 6 and 8 year old active in sports, scouts and with toms of friends this just isn't the right fit for her. She deserves better.
