About Jeb

Adoption Fee: $25
Lab / Flat-Coated Retriever
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Jeb has a sponsor who subsidized his fee to $25. Jeb has been with us for 16 months having arrived in Sept 2016. With his shimmering ebony coat and radiant spirit, everything about Jeb shines. He has boundless love to share and wants everyone he meets to feel loved by him. Happy and confident, overjoyed for the companionship of a walk with volunteers or a romp in the play yards with doggie friends. So happy when sharing some time with a friendly face, so saddened to return to his kennel and to wait for the next moment beyond it's walls when he can again feel alive. He begins every day with a hopeful heart that there will be visitors and people wishing to go for a walk with him or stay for some play and cuddle time. He ends every day curled up on a lonely cot. Jeb is a 2 and 1/2 year old lab mix with a dash of something extra. Children, dogs, cats, all are welcome in Jeb's world. He weighs 50 pounds. He is neutered, fully vaccinated and tested free of heart worms. Application can be submitted online at our website: https://www.charlessmithgallhumanesociety.org/page/dog-adoption-application/ or at the shelter. Adoption policies/application procedures are detailed under All Adoptable Animals. Adoption of all dogs/cats requires an approval process to ensure that they are going into a home suitable for their needs and committed to their care and safety. Each is placed with same due diligence that they would be given if they were our own furry family members. Adopters who are not within the local area of the shelter MUST come to the shelter to transport their new family member home. Meeting approved adopters is one of the final steps in the adoption process. We do not permit transport or shipping of our residents without the adopter in attendance. Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a No kill shelter which provides quality care, spay/neuter-all vaccines, deworming, vet exam, standard disease testing and for dogs-monthly heart worm prevention treatment. Resident animals are owner relinquished and also accepted from local Animal Control. The shelter is not permitted by GA law to accept strays. The facility is usually operating at capacity with a list of animals approved for intake waiting for space to open. Adoption hours are Tues-Sat 10-4 and Sun 1-4. Closed Mondays Location: 4823 Helen Hwy. 75N, Sautee, GA 30571, Phone: 706-865-4135 Email: [email protected] Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/smithgallhumanesociety/ Charles Smithgall Humane Society is located in the mountains of NE GA, 3 miles south of the alpine town of Helen.
