About Sophie

I rescued Sophie with the intent to rehome her. She is very loving, very intelligent, and very much a dachshund. She loves to hunt for frogs and lizards, and loves the water. She gets along with most dogs except large, energetic puppies. She is slightly food aggressive, but if fed a few feet away from others, she doesn't have an issue. She will, however, try to eat everyone else's food! She likes to sleep under the covers, and loves little kids. She has a lot of energy, loves to go for walks, and loves the water. She is housebroken as long as she is walked outside and given an opportunity to do her business.
