About Pibe

Pibe is our seventh foster dog from the Miami-Dade County shelter. We have been fostering him since November 2017. He is a fast learner, he already knows sit, shake, and down. He is a sweet, smart, very tolerant dog, but needs work on impulse control. He would not be good with kids or other animals because if they are excitable, he becomes excitable, usually mouth-first. The Gentle Leader helps ENORMOUSLY with these issues. We take him to happy hours, adoption events, and farmers markets no problem and he interacts with kids wonderfully there and is becoming less dog reactive with more exposure. But he can't be in the Gentle Leader 24/7 in a home environment! We work seasonally out of state and so cannot keep him permanently, but when we're in town, we'd offer free dog-sitting to whoever adopts him we love him so much. Willing to transport out of state along the eastern seaboard.
