About Snapping turtle

Hello my name is Andrew Kohn and I have a snapping turtle is 2 1/2 years old and have had him since birth. He is the sweetest most amazing baby in the world and hasn't snapped a single person his whole life. He has barely eaten all month and not to much last month. I don't know what to do. He has brought so much joy to my life but seeing him like this pains me more than you could imagine. I want what's best for him even if it means giving him up. I am about 2 1/2 hours south of you and was wondering what you believe I should do. I love him so much and want what's best for him.
