About Koba

Brownsville, TX My name is Koba - my foster parents have been calling me Bash. I am a four year old Great Dane and I am looking for my forever family that can show me unconditional love. I started off with a pretty rough life where I was chained to a concrete area that caused calluses and sores on my legs. I was also extremely underweight. My sores are being treated and are healing. I am now a healthy weight, weighing in at 160 lbs at my last vet check. I really like the indoors and get along with other small and large breed dogs, but I need to be watched because I recently had to be separated from another male Great Dane for a minor squabble with no injuries. It would be best if I was in a home where I am the only male dog or with a family that has experience with large breeds. I have been around children and as far as my foster parents know I like them. I am heartworm negative. My foster parents have been kenneling me. I did not like at first but I now find the kennel a safe, comfortable space. I do prefer to rest and sleep on memory foam bedding because it is softer on my body. I will be neutered on 2/15/18. My foster parents have been working with me on leash training because I have a tendency to pull when walking. I will continue to need practice with this. I am potty trained and am pretty good about letting you know when I need to go outside. My foster parents describe me as pretty easy going and I sure love it when they take me on car rides.
