About Fritz

Fritz is a loving boy who is looking for a family to love him forever. A 9 year old, 14 pound gorgeous boy, Fritz is in a loving foster home in Florida Fritz is a laid back boy who loves people. He greets everyone he meets with a wagging tail and a loving demeanour. He enjoys the company of other dogs and ignored the kitty he met Although he has not been tested with children, he is so laid back we believe he would be wonderful with respectful children who are ages 10 and over. Fritz is house trained but like all dachshunds he will need to be confident in his environment to have good potty habits. All rescue dogs go thru a period of adjustment so understanding and patience is important. He is a smart, well behaved boy and he will ask to go outside when it is potty time. Fritz is leash trained and would enjoy walks every day and a fenced yard to enjoy sniffs and outdoor time. This happy boy enjoys a car ride and would be a good traveling companion. Loving Fritz will come and ask for love. Rubbing against your leg, almost like a cat, asking for pets and cuddles. He enjoys every opportunity to cuddle with his foster parents. He can be a playful and enjoys time with toys. Fritz sleeps on a nice comfy chair or couch in his foster home but would love to sleep in the big bed too!
