About CAPTAIN & TENNILLE

SAY HELLO TO CAPTAIN & TENNILLE! Captain & Tennille are a beautiful bonded pair of 2 year old Shih Tzu who will only be adopted together. Weighing in at 16 and 14 pounds respectively, these two are so amazing and a delight to all they meet. They do everything together as a team and the love they have for each other is heart warming. Captain is Tennille's confidence. She isn't stressed when he is around and is so much happier. Captain is more independent than his sister but when it comes time to cuddle he is right on your lap! Tennille loves retrieving the ball and anything squeaky. Captain can be content with his own company, but when he sees Tennille playing, he jumps right in and it's game on! We've been working on their housetraining, so Captain needs a little more work however he does follow Tennille's lead. Like all rescues, they will need gentle guidance until they understand where to go and what to do. They are very bright and love to please. They are learning the routine of leash training and enjoy their outings on the leash. Both are very relaxed when riding in the car ~ Captain sprawled out on the seat and Tennille up on a perch taking in the sites and sounds of the drive. These two Doll Babies would be a wonderful edition to a family of adults or adults with older kids who understand and will be respectful of their small size. Captain and Tennille are longer coated breeds, so they both will require weekly brushing as well as regular professional grooming every 6 to 8 weeks. Their adoption fee of $900.00 is a combined fee. This fee includes all of their Veterinarian Wellness visit, a spay and a neuter, all of their vaccinations including Rabies and Bordatella, de-worming, microchips with a lifetime registration and professional groom.
