About Rex

High energy, very loving, VERY SMART 3 year old male.He comes when we whistle for him. Beautiful sienna with black vivid markings, white muzzle and amazing blue-green eyes. Came to us as a stray 6 months ago and never left. He loves being outside climbing trees and visiting neighbors. However, he's inside at night. Very curious.Needs room to explore According to our neighbors, he was wandering around our MH park for almost two months before he came to us. We're retired and home a lot. He's in and out all day and follows us around like a dog when we're outside. Usually he's waiting for us on a chair on our front porch if we have to go somewhere during the day. When inside, he has a bed in a chair in the living room and one on the bed in our guest room. NEVER sleeps or lays on the floor (doesn't feel safe). We think he'd do well on the top layer of a cat tree. Always sleeps in one of his beds at night and while napping during the day. Very talkative and really gets his message across. Eats 1/2 small can cat food morning and night along with kibbles and Brushing Bites for his teeth. He loves being in our laps kneading his paws or next to us when we let him on the bed in the mornings. Loves to drink water out of the kitchen faucet. Box trained and extremely clean. Since we travel a lot, we have no one to care for him when we're gone as our next door neighbor has moved and he WILL NOT do well in a cage at a kennel. He needs people around him. Right now he's happy lying in a chair next to me as I work on the computer. He comes with his beds, carrier, blankets, food, toys, and 4 months of flea treatment. He will need a lot of love til he feels at home with a new family. he's a handsome and a very loving animal.
