About Little Dude

We're looking to rehome a stray dog (Red Heeler mix) that we took in to our home almost a year ago from San Antonio. His Name is Little Dude. When we first brought him into our local vet, he had an aggressive case of heartworm that had to be treated over the course of months with injections & restrictive exercise. He also wasn't housebroken or used to being crated (or indoors for that matter) It's been a long year, but we've since worked on those issues, hired a behaviorist, and gotten him relatively adjusted to 'normal' life. He still likes chasing down squirrels and birds in the yard though. Unfortunately, he's a -very- high-energy small dog & doesn't always get along well with his counterpart, a 150lb. Dane/Mastiff. Doesn't mind the cats, but he always seems to run around and spin in circles & has a tendency to crash into them (which they don't appreciate) He always craves attention, seems to work well in groups, likes kids and meeting people in general. Does not like the rain, especially storms.
