About Gemini

Guess what?! I know how to 'sit pretty'! My friends here at the shelter say it is so stinkin' cute! I'm quite proud that I know that behavior! They call me Gemini. I'm a 3 year old pretty lady. Let me tell you more about myself! I hope I am what you are looking for in a forever friend... I do great at not making a mess in the home - both when you are not with me and also regarding being house-trained. I love people and used to live with kiddos who were so nice to me. I loved being around them and cuddling with them! I'm sure you noticed I am missing a little bit of fur. Don't worry! I seem to have some food allergies, but have dramatically improved since being on a different brand! My friends at Michiana are giving me some medicine to help me get better faster. As any dog, I will just need regular vet visits to monitor the amazing progress I have made. I know I mentioned that I can sit pretty - I know more than that, though! I know how to sit, wait, come, lay down, freeze-in-place, and I walk nicely on a leash. I love to work hard for those treats! I used to live with a kitty friend and I liked him! Since being at the shelter, other dogs make me a bit anxious. I'd like to be the only pup in the home. The best game in the world is playing tug-of-war with those awesome tug ropes.
