Thanks for your cooperation!****** Tessa was in a high kill shelter in CA & they did not know if she was pregnant & she was completely out of time with her life & we could see she was extremely pregnant & well what do you know roughly 32 hours later she had 5 male puppies. We are guessing Tessa is Italian greyhound/chi mix. Tessa is very sweet and affectionate. She loves to go for walks and rolls over for belly rubs. Shes a great travel companion and loves going for car rides. She's been an excellent mommy to 5 boys and now it's time for her to have a forever home of her own. She is very playful and loves squeaky toys. She walks well on a leash and comes when called. She's very smart and food motivated and will train easily. She's about 95% potty trained but may regress a bit with transitioning to a new home. Tessa is happiest when she by your side. Tessa will be spayed, chipped, up to date on her shots. She will be ready to go to her forever home on 2/23/18 & we are currently accepting applications for this little lady. Like most dogs in our rescue, Tessa will need work on potty training. Tessa has an adoption fee of $500 __________________________ **IMPORTANT DETAILS - PLEASE READ** An application must be filled out before consideration for adoption. Please do not apply for a dog until you are ready to commit a lifetime to him/her. We are an all-volunteer 501c3 non-profit group of animal lovers. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable as we need these funds to pay our current medical bills for our dogs as well as any future dogs we rescue as well. As an adopter, you must be prepared to accept the fact that these dogs are rescues and, just like you and I, they all have their own individual personalities. In most cases, these little ones have been through a difficult journey that started when their family gave them up or they became lost. They may have been under stress, neglected or even abused in their past life or frightened by being left alone on the streets to fend for themselves. Our number one focus is finding these little loves a wonderful forever home with a family who is going to care for them and show them what it is like to be loved, a safe environment, a full belly and a warm bed. These sweet babies do not ask for much from you but they may require a little patience and understanding. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, WE ARE AN ALL VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS.
