About Quinn

Quinn is the darling of everyone who gets to know her. Perhaps past hardships or genes are responsible for this lovely Rat Terrier's white face, but it certainly isn't age. Quinn is no older than 8, and she acts like a dog half her age. She's a sweet, spunky, and sociable girl, who loves her people and her walks. Quinn is a fast learner, fitting in quickly with new people and new circumstances. She's completely house-trained and well-behaved if you need to leave her alone for a few hours. Equally good at taking care of business in the yard or on leash, she really loves her walks and exploring what's out there. At 16 lbs., she's easy to walk and well-mannered on leash. She doesn't need long walks as long as she gets out there and can greet everyone she meets, tail going nonstop. In between, a fenced yard gives her a chance to go out for a bit and explore at her own pace. She gets along with the other dogs in the household, but her biggest interest is in being with her person. She does like getting your attention! She loves to give kisses and jump up into your lap. After a walk she's pretty relaxed and has some favorite spots where she likes to curl up, usually with you if you're sitting down. She cuddles in bed at night, where she will stay close until it's time to get up. As long as she gets attention, she would be happy with another dog as a companion, although she would also likely be happy as an only dog. She does get along with everyone, but in her enthusiasm she sometimes jumps up or paws, so she might be too physical for a household with small children.
