About Smokey

Smokey was rescued from an overburdened owner with a big heart, too many cats and not enough funds to care for their individual needs. This beautiful cat is very vocal- chirping, meowing, purring and just eating up attention! She runs all over the house or up in the rafters of the vaulted ceiling, or slides across our new wood floor as she attacks a toy! She likes to be loved on everywhere, and although seems lukewarm about being picked up, she does like to cuddle up next to you and soak up your affection for her. She is playful, sassy, and incredibly sweet. She has been accustomed to an indoor/outdoor life, but seems to prefer the indoors more.
