About Woody

Woody would love to be your next companion. Woody was found living at a community cat colony trying to survive on the streets. He was pretty beat up when first found - although neutered - other males were giving him a hard time. He is FIV positive, which just means he is somewhat immune-compromised - so he should be kept indoors only (maybe with access to outdoor inclosed catio). He cannot pass FIV on to other cats through casual contact - only through deep bite wounds (which is why usually, unaltered tomcats predominately end up with the condition). Woody is very easy going - likes other cats (with proper introduction of course). I would recommend no small children - since he lived life on the streets for several years - he still get a little spooked by sudden movements like kids can make (and noises). He loves his fleece wand toy and pets from his person. His adoption fee includes his microchip (already done), FVRCP vaccine, and of course he's already neutered. Woody has also had a recent dental - upwards of $200.00. References will be requested for veterinarian and personal, as well as brief adoption application.
