Mica *****Please read all information and be aware that this pup has some disabilities before applying**** Breed: Catahoula Leopard Hound Age: 12 weeks (as of 01.27.18); Male Medical: Up to Date on Vaccinations, Microchipped, wormed; Deaf and possible sight issues Weight: 19 pounds Dogs: Yes Cats: Yes Kids: 8 + Crate Trained : Yes House Trained : Getting there! Location: Currently Tennessee Mica is very playful and can be busy. He likes to explore new things. He loves being handled by his human companions and playing with his canine companions. He sometimes plays extremely rough, because he can not hear and does not know when to stop. His humans are teaching him signs that will help with understanding, that some behaviors are not acceptable! He will need a home that is willing to learn and work with a deaf dog and if there will be a dog brother or sister they will have to be on the easy going edge. Mica has a lot of love to give if you are willing to open your home and heart! If you are interested in adopting Mica please email [email protected] and request an application. Once your application has been received and reviewed, you will be contacted via email or phone by one of our volunteers. After your application is approved, the foster parent for the dog you have selected will contact you to answer any questions you may have and determine if that dog is a good match for your family. If you have no particular dog in mind, we will be happy to keep your application on file and notify you if the right dog should come into rescue. Catahoula Rescue of New England is an all-volunteer group. Dogs in our program are fostered by volunteers. The foster homes care for our dogs as if they were their own. All dogs have received vaccinations appropriate to age and are spayed or neutered. Mica's adoption donation is $400 which includes Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella, fecal test, heart worm test when appropriate and is on preventative, and microchip. Mica is currently too young to be neutered and will be going with a Spay/Neuter Contract and this requires a refundable deposit. As soon as you provide proof of neuter.
