Little Izzy Grace deserves so much more than she has been given her so far. She spent her first 10 years in a puppy mill, and even though she is now free from that horror, she will always carry some physical scars and possibly emotional ones as well. A lifetime of poor dental care has left this gorgeous 9-lb. Rat Terrier with only four teeth, so she'll need to eat soft food. And a lack of positive contact with people has affected her trust. She has come a long way since being rescued from that dreaded puppy mill, but she is still learning that not all humans are bad. It took more than a month before she allowed anyone in her foster family to touch her. She's going to need a home that is peaceful and predictable, so her new family shouldn't have any children younger than teenagers. And everyone in her new family will need to be patient enough to give her the space she needs to feel safe and to allow her to gain trust of them at her own pace. Since she's still working on house-training, she'll need to have someone home with her most of the time to provide frequent, regular opportunities to go out. Izzy is a beautiful girl! Are you that special patient person to give her the time and attention she deserved all along?
