About Bitsy

Bitsy came from a horrible high kill shelter. She is a sweet little female chihuahua around 2 years old and weighing 8 pounds. Bitsy is mostly white with red patches. Bitsy is a gentle and super sweet little girl without the 'chihuahua' attitude. Bitsy is a little on the shy side. She is a lap dog and likes to be loved and petted. She likes to play with toys and other well mannered dogs. Bitsy is house trained, crate trained and otherwise good in the house. Bitsy is small and delicate and cannot handle rough treatment by children or big dogs. She must be protected from mean dogs and large predators (coyotes, owls, eagles) that could hurt her. Bitsy must be an indoor dog and a loved member of the family. Bitsy must be walked on a leash or have a secure fenced yard to run and play. Bitsy is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. She is positive with a medium load of heartworms that is being treated with the proven 'slow kill' method. She has completed her first round of treatment and the medicine for her second round will be provided. Bitsy has a $100.00 adoption fee.
