John is ready find his forever home! John came to us with his friend Libby and, although they like each other, we have found that they are not dependent or extremely bonded to each other. Therefore, we think they would do fine adopted separately. Some facts about John: JOHN (Chocolate and Tan) - 15.5 years old and build like a loaf of bread- weighing about 8 lbs - Heart murmur, but does not currently require medication. Will need to be monitored. - Super happy guy who loves people and just wants to jump in your lap and get pets - Good with other dogs and will make an amazing companion. - Quiet in the home and just loves affection. Sadly, John and Libby came to us after the owner had requested for her vet to have them euthanized. Luckily, the vet saw they were great dogs with a lot of life left to live and they got the owner to surrender to rescue.John's adoption donation of $175 helps to cover the cost of his medical care, which includes John's cardiologist visit and dental.
