Zahara was rescued from a Police holding kennel and was to lose her life. We were alerted to this sweet girl and felt she was way too young at heart and sweet to end her life that way. Her owners dumped her and another little dog there, knowing they would most likely not make it out. It was heart breaking for her to lose her long time companion also who was rescued first. Zahara has made quick friends with her foster's puppy and is good with other dogs also. She has shown no interest or aggression to a few cats we walked her by, but are not certain if she has been around them or not or what she would do with them not crated. Her temperament is so laid back that I would be surprised if she bothered them. If you would like a sweet, loving companion and can give this beautiful smiling face a home for her retirement years, we would love to hear from you.
