About MADGE

Madge is one of those seniors whose human equivalent is still out playing tennis and going dancing! Madge is a gorgeous snowy white Toy Poodle girl. Weighing in at just 5 pounds, Madge is a very petite, sweet senior girl with lots of love to offer. At 10 years young, she is still very much young at heart! She will make such a wonderful addition to your family for years to come. Madge would make a wonderful companion dog. She's quiet and gentle will love to nap with you. She is content to sleep in her own dog bed or snuggled up in the bed with you. She prefers to be the only dog or possibly with one other who is similar in size and temperament. A retired single or couple would be ideal or a family with older kids or teens that can respect her tiny size. This little girl was found as a stray and sadly her owners never came forward for her. We exhausted every avenue to reunite her with her family. Madge was in pretty rough shape the day we welcomed her in. Madge has had a dental cleaning and numerous extractions. She only has a few teeth left. She can eat dry food but her foster usually puts a little water on it to soften it for her. With a pain free mouth, Madge eats like a champ! Madge's right eye is cloudy and our Veterinarian attributes that is the result of a prior injury or damage that had never been treated. Madge very much enjoys walks and she still has quite a bit of energy for her age. She likes car rides and likes to greet everyone she meets when she goes out. Madge is mostly house-trained, but like all rescues, she will require gentle guidance as she adjusts to her new family's routine as to where to go and what to do. She is currently using a dog door. Madge is a longer coated breed that will require regular brushing as well as professional grooming and nail trims every 6 to 8 weeks. She does not currently take any medications. Madge's adoption fee is $ 275.00 This fee includes her spay, complete professional dental cleaning with extractions, all vaccinations including Rabies and Bordatella, microchip with lifetime registration, de-worming and professional groom.
