Hello everyone, I'm Elska and I'm looking for my forever family. I'm about 2 yrs old and 45 lbs of love! My tail never stops wagging! I have heard a lot of talk about what a very sweet disposition I have. I love people! I really like kids and can be sweet and gentle with them, but sometimes I get excited and may jump on them to say hi. I have been fostered with and without other dogs. Being the only dog is great because I get a lot of attention, and I'm happy when being loved on and petted. But with proper introductions I am usually good with other dogs. I have lots of energy and enjoy time running around this large fenced in yard. I would love to go hiking and be your adventure buddy! I do well in a crate and also doing well with potty training. I don't think I'd like to live in the city or in an apartment because of all the outside noises. I've been through a lot of changes but doing much better with structure so I know the rules! I just need someone who will take the time to know me and give me a chance. I'm receiving training in my foster home so I can be the best dog I can be! I get really excited but am learning to slow down and focus on the people around me! This dog tested positive for heartworm disease before arriving to the rescue. It has been treated while in foster care. Heartworm disease is transmitted to a dog through a bite from an infected mosquito.
