About Wendell

Are you looking for a laid back, go with the flow kind of dog? Let me introduce you to Wendell. Wendell is a 2 year old Border Collie Mix. He is incredibly sweet and as laid back as they come. He loves other dogs and absolutely adores human attention. He is a low maintenance dog and is just happy to be along for the ride in this crazy thing called life. Wendell is currently undergoing slow kill heartwormtreatment. Wendell is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and ready to curl up in that empty spot on your couch! He actually was adopted for 8 months with a family who then decided to kick him to the curb. They dropped him off at a shelter who immediately contacted us. When we picked him up it was obvious he was filthy and had lived a while outside, he was also OBESE. Our fun peppy lil pup was just sad. He is now in an awesome foster and learning to be happy and trust again. He does well with dogs, cats, small animals, he is crate trained and house trained, he also knows basic commands. This lil man is the total package, an absolute GEM.
