About Harley & Dakota

Solid white large and brindle medium size pit / coonhound mixes need home ASAP. I'm sending this to multiple places to ask for advice and resources or help. My neighbor is getting evicted and has 2 pit mixes that need rehomed. They are not well trained or socialized. They are not aggressive (good with kids and dogs, okay with cats) but one is fearful of strangers and they need someone who can work with them. He needs to find them a place to go fast or they will end up at a shelter and we don't want them put down or end up somewhere bad. My family will not let me foster them for fear I'll keep them and I'm not sure what to do. They're good dogs. They just need some help. I'd appreciate the help. I don't want these babies to go somewhere bad. If you want to adopt I will ask questions to help ensure they go somewhere safe and good for them. I am related to the owner and can communicate with them (they currently don't have a working phone or internet). If they are ADOPTED DIRECTLY it needs to be understood these dogs need a lot of work and training. They have gone almost 2 years with minimal socializion and training outside their family. They need a dedicated owner to work with them and shape them into the best they can be. They are good dogs, but they were separated from their litters early before being adopted into their current home and need work.
