Today is a sad day for us, as we're looking to re-home our 6 year old lab mix. He is a loyal, loving dog, but is is showing aggression towards our 11 month old baby that we can't ignore. We adopted Max from the Tallahassee pound when he was a puppy. He loves walks, tennis balls, and car rides. He is also great with new people, but is very protective of his home and family. This makes him a great watch dog; he has always made us feel safe. We are committed to finding Max the right home. An ideal home for Max would be with a single person, or a family with no young children - someone who can give him frequent walks and lots of cuddles. He's a great companion, and would make a great addition to anyone's life. Max is very strong willed, and frequently tries to be the 'alpha' of the home. He requires some special handling, but has had extensive obedience training, and is a good listener. To help make re-homing easier, we will pay for sessions with our dog trainer to get you comfortable with him. He has been a great part of our life, and we're sure he'll be that for you, too.
