About Rory

Meet. Rory is a sweet girl who came from Texas. She had a leg that was mangled when she arrived with her rescue group and had to have it amputated. It is believed she was attacked by other dogs and possibly used as a bait dog. Rory is currently with another rescue but will be joining AHS soon. She has been waiting for 9 months now for her forever home. She was in a foster home, but had to return to the facility where they said she is losing hope and getting depressed. Our Director met Rory and the poor girl is just shutting down. Rory is estimated to be around 8 years old. This poor girl has not had a good start in life and she desperately deserves to know what it feels like to be loved and accepted. Rory loves to play and go for walks. Despite being a 'senior' she still has a lot of spunk in her. Rory is still pretty laid back and isn't high maintenance. Rory needs to be the only pet in her home, which we know isn't always easy to find. Please don't let her being a tripod deter you from adopting this wonderful girl, it doesn't slow her down in the least! Rory is house and crate trained. She needs a home with either no children, or older children that are mature and know how to respect a dog's space. No dogs or cats for this girl.
