About Maverick

Maverick is very dear to me. I raised him from 11 weeks old and he is probably the coolest, sweetest dog I have ever had. Circumstances are that I am a busy mom of two very young children, with two other dogs that don't require as much attention as Maverick. With that being said, my lack of time and his lack of exercise has made it difficult to train him in areas of getting along with our other male dog. He is very good around our young daughters and very attached to me. He does well with other adults but is shy initially. VERY good companion and loves to play frisbee and fetch! Loves the lake! Is neutered but is not up-to-date on shots. Great on walks, my two 1/2 year old can walk him around the block. We recently took him to a dog event and he did Excellent with all the other dogs, just needs to be the alpha of the pack and would probably do better with a less dominant female or an older less rambunctious dog. I want to be assured that he is placed in a very loving home. He likes to sit in your lap, on/at your feet. Loves to be pet and loved on. He is used to being groomed. Is gentle with my little girls and lets them lay on him, tug at him, put things on him. Gives good kisses and Wonderful hugs, just an all over great companion. (3
