About River

FOSTER LOCATION: Boise, ID River is a mix of Terrier/Schnauzer/Pug/Chihuahua and needs a warm home and lap to snuggle into. River was born on 10/6/2017 into the Fuzzy Pawz Rescue family after we took in her pregnant mom; she and her sibling have been raised in the same foster home since day 1. She is a bit of a shy girl who is always off to the side observing and then will decide if she wants to participate, usually with a few bunny hops she comes bounding over to play. River seems to have retained terrier hair from her mom and you can't help but to fall in love with that little black nose and those longing adorable eyes. She is sugary sweet and guaranteed to melt your heart. River is living with children, 2 bigger dogs, and 2 cats; so she has gotten a well-rounded education; but we think she'd do best in a quieter home with just a couple of people to love on her! This cutie has mastered the pee pad and has started on her house training; consistency, tons of praise and a little patience on your part and she'll be 100% house trained in no time. River is ready to fill your house with the pitter patter of little feet. PLEASE remember that while puppies are super cute they are also a LOT of work. They need to be house trained, socialized with other dogs, strangers, etc. as they grow. To be all they can be puppies should attend puppy classes and learn the basics (sit, down, etc). Adopting a puppy is a huge commitment; if you aren't prepared to put in the time, energy and money then please consider an adult dog. River is vaccinated and microchipped. She will need to be spayed at owner's expense BEFORE 6 months of age. There is a $200 adoption fee for River There is also a $200 spay fee that must be paid at time of adoption; this $200 will be returned to the owner upon proof of spay by 6 months of age.
