About Rose

My name is Rose, and I am looking for my home. I was rescued from Moreno Valley animal shelter on 12/28/17, just in the nick of time. I had been there for over a month. I arrived there skinny, neglected, and scared. I have been living in a foster home since then, and have received excellent veterinary care and training. I still seem to be aggressive with small dogs, although I temp tested well with dogs my own size. I may need a home where I am the only dog, or where there are dogs more like me. I seem to get jealous when I don't get all the attention. I was just diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and for now, need 2 insulin shots a day and glucose screening weekly, which can be done at home. With time and stabilization, I may be able to manage my diabetes with less (and maybe no) insulin, and the right diet which I am also on now. I am sweet, smart and willing to learn. My fosters cannot keep me much longer; they have been kind and generous, but we all are ready for me to find my HOME. Please consider adopting me, I will give you lots and lots of love.
