Charlie, like so many shelter dogs, has had a pretty rough start to his young life. This gorgeous Australian Shepherd mix was dumped outside the small town of Jacksboro and ended up in their shelter. They were very full, so Charlie was transported to the Euless Shelter to ensure he would not be put down. He was quickly adopted, but the people decided that they really wanted a smaller dog, so now he is spending a few days at Mutt Shack before he goes back to the Euless Shelter. Charlie is extremely sweet and loving. The family that had him a short time said he was going to make someone a great family dog. He was excellent with their young son, and seemed to enjoy being in a home. Charlie walks well on a leash, weighs around 50 pounds, and we think is between one and two years old. He is scheduled to be neutered this week, is heartworm negative, and totally up to date on shots. Charlie is a walks perfectly on a leash. No pulling at all! He also runs extremely well with anyone who runs. He says beside them in a perfect position and in rhythm with you. He is an awesome boy.
