About Marley

FOSTER LOCATION: Mt Home, ID Marley is an 8 month old Golden Retriever who came to Fuzzy Pawz Rescue when her family was no longer able to care for her. This girl loves everyone she meets and is one happy, happy, happy dog! Did we say she is happy? Marley is also a very high energy pup who is going to need a very active family. While she is happy to hang out at home with you and maybe even take a nap on the couch Marley wants to GO! She would love a family that walks/bikes/runs/hikes every day and will take her along. Marley is house trained and knows the basics like sit, down and stay but she would to enjoy attending a puppy class with her family where she can learn a ton of new stuff; she's super smart. Marley does get bored if not given enough to do (remember we mentioned the exercise); well when bored Marley has been known to chew things up - she has gone after the carpet and base boards in the past. Daily exercise, interactive toys and crating when no one is home will take care of this problem. Marley is good with other dogs and would enjoy having an active other dog in the home to play with. While she has not been around cats we would not recommend she go to a home with them as they will very quickly become something she chases. Marley is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
