Oliver is about a year and a half old and is currently at the Augusta Animal Services Shelter in Augusta, Georgia - it's hard to believe that he's been there since July 1st, 2017! His mom, a pit bull mix, was abandoned in Burke County, Georgia, along with one of her puppies and both were rescued and found homes. Oliver and his other siblings were taken to the shelter by their owners, and Oliver's siblings were all adopted but poor Oliver is still waiting for his forever home! Volunteer Kim Naughton said that he has a lot of energy, due to being part Malinois - and he will run the fence line at the shelter and loves to play. He paces back and forth in his small kennel at the shelter. This breed probably has a harder time than a lot of other breeds being at a shelter, and our hearts break that he hasn't found a home yet. After running for about ten minutes he will sit next to Kim and just wants to be loved and cuddled. He would do great with an active individual or active family. Oliver is very smart, alert, friendly, affectionate, and this breed is protective and would make a great watch dog! He is a special boy who's looking for his special someone! This is a courtesy post so to meet Oliver, please contact the Augusta Animal Services Shelter, 6164 Mack Lane, Augusta, Georgia 30906. 706-790-6836. We are not sure of the adoption fee so please check with the shelter. We had to list a price on here and couldn't leave it blank. Here's to Oliver finding his permanent soft place to fall very soon!
