About Cora

Cora is sweet 4 yr old rat terrier/chi mix. She is one of our special needs pups that will need a patient loving owner. We have had her x-rayed and examined by our vet and although she is healthy now, we feel she may have injured her neck or back at one time and is fearful of being picked up, possibly because of previous pain. She is affectionate and will sit by and give kisses to her foster mom. After over a month of being in her current foster home, she has made progress and we feel with time and patience, she will adjust to a new home. She is afraid of younger children, mostly because they might try and pick her up. She does fine with other dogs as long as they aren't too rough. Her adoption fee is $100. We work closely with ALL of our adopters to make sure the pup they choose is a good fit for their family.
