RE: FRIENDLY, YOUNG MALE PITBULL WHOSE OWNER GOT INCARCERATED, LIVING IN DIRE STRAITS, NEEDS HELP! I AM OVER 100 MILES AWAY! My brother lives in Cape May. A young woman with her pitbull stopped by where he lives and left her dog over a week ago; she is currently incarcerated. My brother spoke to the father of the girl who owns the dog who stoically said to surrender the dog to the shelter there. My brother is indigent (lives over 100 miles from me), has no car or means to get this dog to a shelter and works day to day. Please help! The dog is living the a trailer with my brother on a property of someone he knows. My brother barely keeps food in his own belly and claims he has been feeding the dog every day and we grew up loving animals so I know he'd make sure the dog eats before he does but it is a critical situation. Although in his unreality he'd love to keep the dog, the property is being sold and my brother will soon be out of a place to stay himself. I have 3 little dogs and and 3 kitties in Monmouth county where I reside. This dog is in a crisis situation because although my brother is doing his best to love and feed the dog, he needs to be relocated before they're both in the street! Please advise! Misti (732) 804-1748 I work 10 hour days in a bldg with video/audio surveillance so if you call me and I don't answer, please leave a message. I can give you the # for the woman who owns the property my brother is staying on since there's a better likelihood of her answering since my brother is in and out of sobriety.
