Beau (Smiley) is a now a beautiful, fully developed young adult Treeing Walker Hound. Abandoned or 'dumped', he was just a puppy, malnourished when I rescued him from the middle of a two lane highway, where he had been waiting for several days for whomever left him. He has lived with me for two years; is fully vetted and neutered. Active and happy, he 'smiles' frequently, hence his nickname. He has been kennelled with his sister (see Lady) and so is not housebroken, although he does not soil his bedding space inside a building with a concrete floor. A home with room to roam and be active is a necessary! Please also see his sister's listing, 'Lady'; she is the predominately white TRW behind him in this photo. These two are full relatives and are kennelled together, play together; not food aggressive, but not deeply bonded. They do not sleep together. I think they could successfully be adopted separately, but expect them to be lonely unless you have another animal with whom they can be playmates. Beau, on his hind feet, can look into my eyes....I am five feet tall, so he is rangy and lanky. Crazy, silly, goofy and fun....and extremely dedicated to their human companions. Transport possibly can be arranged to another area; vet references required and a home check will be requested. Can you give Beau the family he needs?
