About Rebel the Boxer

Rebel is a sweet sweet dog that really deserves a chance at a home with a family that won't keep him out on a chain 24/7, like his previous owners did. He had no real shelter and was left to sit in the hot sun, get soaked by torrential rain, and get frost bite from sitting in icy cold weather. Even through all that, he is the sweetest, most loving dog on the planted. He will give you big mushy face kisses, sit next to you while watching tv, play with his toys, and he even plays run around the table with you. I can't express enough what a great dog Rebel is. His only fault is that he is not comfortable with other dogs. We have seen him relaxed around a couple dogs, and seems OK with females, but he was scared by some rough, unfriendly neighborhood dogs and no longer trust them. Because of this we ask that he go to an owner with experience or with a family that doesn't own any other dogs. Oh and BTW we have seen him around children and he is great with them. Please if you have a large yard for Rebel to run and play with, you like going for walks or hiking and would like a companion, if you just like to lay around and have someone to watch TV with, or just play fetch, consider adding this beautiful guy into your life.
