About Henley

Henley is an approximately 2-year-old, 42.5-pound Labrador mix. She does very well with other dogs and people of all ages. She is extremely intelligent and the ultimate people pleaser and will do almost anything to make you happy. Henley is still a puppy in that she can be rambunctious at times, especially while she plays with her toys, however, she is very happy to sleep at your feet while you work. When playing with other dogs, she fits in great with many personalities and play styles. She is not possessive of any of her belongings and is happy to share with dog and human alike. Henley does love to run and play and would be happy to have a yard or go for a walk or run with you, but just wants to be near you and will be happy to cuddle on the couch with you too, adjusting to your lifestyle as well. She quickly adjusted to living in an apartment and got used to the many new sounds and scents after a couple of days. Henley has a very goofy personality and isn't afraid to show you. She is quick to roll over and enjoys her belly rubs whenever you give them to her. While playing with her toys, or bones, she will sometimes throw them about so she can chase them herself. She certainly knows how to entertain herself if you're busy at the moment. Henley also loves taking baths. You should be vigilant while making one for yourself because she might hop in and steal it for herself. Instead of funny cat videos, you can capture some great Henley videos to share. Henley is crate and house trained, but she does perfectly fine without a crate while you're gone. She is pretty good on a leash, and her small pulls are easily correctable while walking. It is believed that she would make a terrific family pet but young children should be watched in case she knocks them over accidentally while she plays. She may lick them to death while on the floor.
