About River

River is 4/5 months old. What is special and unique about her is her tail which lays straight across her back or curled and wraps around your leg or hand when giving attention. We discovered she fits all the characteristics of an American Ringtail cat. https://www.dogbreedinfo.com/catbreed/ringtailsing.htm River was rescued trying to climb into a drainage wall pipe for safety. She was wounded to her face and a puncture wound by her tail. She survived we assumed from being attacked by another animal. Poor River ended up an infection from the tail wound and we almost lost her. She is such a fighter and after a month of worrying she might not survive she pulled through. River has been one very expensive kitten since she was 3 weeks old. She gets along with other felines and unsure about how she would be with dogs. She is very active as any kitten would be. She is quite the diva and strong willed loved bug. She loves to have her face cupped and touched. When its time to eat or she tells you she is hungry, her cry can be quite loud for someone so little. Ever see a dog sit on his hind legs in upright position with paws towards you to beg? Well, this little cutie does the same thing if not standing on her hind legs doing the same thing in a dance type movement. Adorable! A video update will be posted soon.
