About Harrison in Kerrville

Jack Russell
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Howdy! I'm Harrison. I was found wandering the streets of Corpus Christi right after Hurricane Harvey. I had a bum leg from being hit by a car and I was very much skin and bones. The person that found me took me to the local shelter and I eventually ended up being loved and cared for by Texas Russell Rescue foster parents. I was really scared in the beginning and I wouldn't utter a sound. My foster mommy thought I couldn't bark. But, after about six weeks, me and mommy were home alone and the bug killer (exterminator) showed up. I didn't know him so I barked and barked to protect my mommy. She got really excited to hear my voice and the bug killer probably thought we were crazy! I eventually had to have my back left leg amputated, but I'm not bothered by this at all. I healed nicely and now I run and play with my foster brother and sister. I am house trained and will stand quietly by the door when I need to go outside. I love my bed, but I also love sleeping in the big bed! My perfect home will let me be an indoor pal, smother me with lots of loving (and I will return the favor), have a lap I can sit in (because I have been called a cuddle bug), and have plenty of food and water and treats. I am around two years old and very healthy now. I have had all of my shots and I have been neutered. I am quite attached to my foster mommy and she promises I will only be adopted to a perfect, loving home. If you are ready to wear the crown, please complete an adoption application at www.russellrescue.com. I will do better in a home with no cats and no kids. I must have a fenced yard to play in. A home check and good vet reference are mandatory to adopt me plus you must be able to drive to Kerrville to get me! My adoption fee is 200 dollars. Contact [email protected] if you have questions about what a great dog I am!
